Hier ist er nun, der Post, wie er in allen Au Pair Blogs auftaucht.<\/p>\n

Viele der Posts dieser Art sind von gro\u00dfer Begeisterung und vielen neuen Eindr\u00fccken des Landes gepr\u00e4gt. Bei mir ist das nicht anders, nur dass das Land selbst mir lange nicht mehr fremd ist…<\/p>\n

Den ersten Tag, nachdem ich am Vorabend mit dem Bus ankam, habe ich alleine im Haus verbracht. Die ganze Familie war unterwegs und so hatte ich viel Zeit, mich mit meinem neuen Zuhause vertraut zu machen. Abends gab es sogar ein kleines Quiz, in welcher Schublade zum Beispiel die Socken des Jungen liegen. Habe so ziemlich alles gewusst und damit hoffentlich nicht zu gro\u00dfe Hoffnungen erweckt. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

Ich lebe also in einem mit gro\u00dfen, sch\u00f6nen H\u00e4usern gef\u00fcllten und vor allem nat\u00fcrlich windigen Vorort Wellingtons.
‚Meine‘ Kinder sind 2 M\u00e4dchen (10 und 5 Jahre alt) und ein Junge (8 Jahre alt) und Kuscheltiere gibt es auch: 2 Burma-Katzen und einen kleinen schnuckeligen Fifi. Die \u00e4ltere Katze sitzt gerade auf meinem Scho\u00df und legt ihren Kopf auf mein Handgelenk.<\/p>\n

Diese erste Woche ist zum eingew\u00f6hnen sehr gut, zumal ich beim Pfl\u00fccken der letzten \u00c4pfel viel Zeit habe, das neue Wissen zu verdauen und mich mental zu r\u00fcsten.<\/p>\n

Neben 3 supers\u00fc\u00dfen Karten wurde auch die Pinnwand mit Willkommensgr\u00fc\u00dfen in meinem neuen Zimmer geschm\u00fcckt. Als 9. Au Pair der Familie f\u00fchlt man sich sofort in eine solide Routine aufgenommen.<\/p>\n

Die Kinder (wie es in Neuseeland sehr verbreitet ist) machen eine Menge verschiedener Sportarten wie beispielsweise Taekwondo. Meine Aufgabe wird es sein, sie zu all diesen Aktivit\u00e4ten zu fahren. Und nat\u00fcrlich vieles mehr.<\/p>\n

Die Familie ist sehr organisiert und so gibt es f\u00fcr alles einen Plan. Das ist ein gutes Konzept, denn man wei\u00df immer genau woran man ist. Eigentlich ist das auch so bisschen \u00fcberlebenswichtig, denn man sollte immer wissen WO man gerade im Chaos ist. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

Und das Leben hat sich ein weiteres Mal sehr ge\u00e4ndert. Jetzt liegen Spielsachen in der Dusche, meine Kleidung ist dank der hohen Kuschelbarkeit der Haustiere mit Haaren gespickt und morgens ist der Schlaf einerseits durch die Aufregung und andererseits durch den erh\u00f6hten Ger\u00e4uschpegel etwas seichter als sonst. Kann aber auch an der fehlenden t\u00e4glichen Anstrengung liegen. \ud83d\ude42<\/div>\n

Zur Zeit sind Ferien und die Kids sind Vollzeit daheim. Die Familie ist recht technikorientiert und deshalb sehe ich oft meine eigene Kindheit, heute mit anderen Augen, vor dem Bildschirm sitzen.<\/div>\n
