So this is it. My blog.

I already think too hard what to write here. It should sound authentic, not like a technical essay…

I best start with the purpose of the blog:
Like many already know, at the end of this year I would like to go to New Zealand as an Au Pair and would like to keep you updated through this site.
There already is a great blogging scene on that area. And because these blogs are majorly helpful (e.g. for soon-to-be Au Pairs) and wonderfully entertaining on top, I decided to share in myself.

But I want to do a little more until then. I’m planning the trip in the ‘far’ future anyway. Here I want to share my life with you, to write down my experiences, to document my feelings…

That last one is a joke. Ain’t Facebook, this…
I’d like to admit, I love the concept of blogging. I can write relentlessly, without anybody yawning in front of me or at best asking because he didn’t understand a thing.
But I will stick to (at least to me) interesting and tasty topics and upload something new as often as possible regularly.

And like everything has a purpose, this day as ‘ the day of the first blog entry’ serves a special one.

Actually, this day shall be the center of my first post.

Because today the VERY LAST exam has passed. My duty as apprentice is done! IT IS OVER!!

I still have to grasp that. No daily reports anymore. No homework. No worrying about ‘possibly exam relevant subjects’, that were to be looked at. No late days in the workshop. Just nothing anymore!

I told myself: Now life can begin. Now you can do ANYTHING. Blogging for example. Or tidying up your computer. Or ordering the paperwork. Or meeting some people. Or surfing the internet jusified for once. Or starting to work out. Or even all of those things.
Often you tell yourself ‘No, I rather should do something for school, that comes first.’ And then you end up doing nothing.
Well, that excuse doesn’t count anymore and it’s good that way!

That should be enough for the first entry. More will come in time.

On thing’s for sure: My life changed to second gear. And I will start pushing the gas pedal.

I am curious, how Sir Oliver Evolves…
